Saturday projects

Every second Saturday of the month we will open the workshop to share one of the projects that we have developed as part of our programming. These are fun, step-by-step assembly projects often with an open-ended detail to be created. Work with a child, friends or family and make it a Saturday am outing!

Open to anyone: 9 AM - 12 PM (Youth under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)

What did the first animations look like? Get a peek into how we first saw moving pictures with this spinning motion-picture-machine. Once assembled you can create your own 12-frame animation, or use one of our templates to start.

Gecko-bot

This wiggly little creature really moves! Flip the switch and watch it run. Assemble it, then color it to your design taste.

“It’s got a gecko on it!”
