Saturday projects

Every second Saturday of the month we will open the workshop to share one of the projects that we have developed as part of our programming. These are fun, step-by-step assembly projects often with an open-ended detail to be created. Work with a child, friends or family and make it a Saturday am outing! (Kit designs may be altered or substituted by the date of the workshop - you will be notified if this happens)

Open to anyone: 9 AM - 12 PM (Youth under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)

RC Boats

Did you miss this last year? Here’s another chance! Build this boat and enjoy it’s superb maneuverability in the water. We’ll have a small tank to practice in, but the RC controller range is impressive on larger water surfaces. Put your assembly (& driving) skills to the test!

RC Formula Car

We’ve done these before, but this is new and improved with rack n pinion steering. This one has a bit more complexity than the last one. The picture shown below is the 2025 model. We are still finishing the 2026 model - you’ll be the first to build it!

Unless otherwise stated, all workshops occur at the Brown County STEM Innovation Center on the UW-Green Bay Campus.
