Your science instruction can thrive with mySci!

We are excited to provide this K-5 STEM curriculum in Wisconsin! Developed by the Institute for School Partnership at Washington University in St. Louis, mySci is dedicated to creating equity in science learning through hands-on, inquiry-based curriculum that nurtures critical thinking and creativity.

Successful implementation of this program REQUIRES consistent, relevant professional learning including:

  • Program introduction (3-4 hours) for the first unit you receive

  • Each additional kit-specific session (2 hours each session to review science content and fine-tune instructional practices)

  • Cost for PD is included with your lease fee!

School Year Sessions 2026-27

All sessions held during the school year will be held 4:30-6:30pm at the Brown County STEM Innovation Center. Teachers will be expected to complete the
1-hour asynchronous course before attending the in-person session.

September 22, 2026 - 1st Grade: Tiny Flyers

September 23, 2026 - 4th Grade: Sensing Tsunamis

November 19, 2026 - 2nd Grade: Saving the Sand Dunes

February 2, 2027 - Kindergarten: Life in the Rainforest

Interested in piloting a kit?

Expectations for participating in a pilot includes:

  • Attending FREE required 3-4 hours professional learning session (Attend sessions listed above or by district appointment).

  • Covering cost for consumable items in kit (approx. $100) - A full lease fee of $275 per kit will be applied if using more than one kit during the school year.
