Curriculum Leasing

Science instructional materials are a huge investment for a school, especially when you aim to deliver high-quality, hands-on learning opportunities. The Einstein Project offers a variety of vetted, hands-on, science and engineering units for pre-K through eighth grade from select publishers. We can take out the hassle of organizing and storing curriculum kits, as well as monitoring and purchasing replacement materials.

HOW IT WORKS…

Einstein evaluates & purchases materials

Teachers schedule unit delivery

Materials arrive ready to teach

Materials are returned & refurbished

LEASING ADVANTAGES

Materials management is done for you by our staff. Teachers or district support personnel do not have to sort, organize, clean or purchase new materials each year. For some units, this includes orders for living materials that will arrive on schedule when they are needed for the lessons.

The material costs are kept low through our ability to purchase in bulk and utilize volunteer labor.

Our units are always in circulation. Districts do not have to store kits when they are not in use.

Leasing spreads out the cost of implementation. Rather than investing a large sum of money and feeling locked into a program, our districts can make curriculum changes more easily by simply substituting units from a different publisher at any time.

Our local team includes former classroom teachers that are available to provide on-going support for implementation. We offer a wide variety of professional learning opportunities and consultation services utilizing the latest in educational research to help you promote excellence in STEM education.

The Einstein Project is a certified kit provider for OpenSciEd. We recognize that leasing is not a viable option for all school districts. Our warehouse team packs OpenSciEd kits containing both consumable and non-consumable materials for all of the OpenSciEd units. We offer materials for individual classes up to 30 students or for multiple classes (6 sections). We also offer refill consumable kits. If purchasing full grade level (MS) or full course (HS) kits, we will eliminate duplicate items to help save you money.

Our team believes firmly that a successful and sustainable implementation requires hands-on the professional learning. It is through this curriculum-based professional learning that you will come to appreciate the engaging and sometimes challenging process of sensemaking. Individuals and districts wishing to purchase materials from us must participate in professional learning with our team.
