Introduced Newton’s Three Laws
Used a sheet to keep groups working cooperatively. After each lesson, every member reports back on the lesson. I give extra credit if they have a problem and solve it without my help. They practice responsibility and getting along.
To assess student knowledge, they created a maze that used marbles or cars etc. with. They had to identify at least 3 forces, whether they were pushes or pulls, and the object had to speed up, slow down, and change direction.
Use NASCAR races as examples & connection to the unit
