ACTIVITIES:
Make a writing machine
Lego Robotics
Students build their own robot with a moving part or a part that lights up
Collect various broken small electronic appliances they I have taken apart. The students look for the motor parts in them
Parallel and Series circuits
Students use video cameras to make movies with narration - explain how to set up Lesson 15 and explain how the motor works
Write comparison paragraphs on a) electromagnets and flexible magnets, b) straw compass motors and spinning compass motors
