About the Einstein Academy
The Einstein Academy is just one element of The Einstein Project, a non-profit corporation founded in 1991 to support and enhance the quality of science education of 4K-8 students in Wisconsin. The organization is a cooperative effort of Wisconsin communities, school districts, and businesses. The Einstein Project supplies exemplary science units to public and private schools and provides professional development to teachers.
The Einstein Academy was created to provide continued, in-depth training in science for K-12 educators. In its 20th year, the 2012 Einstein Academy continues a tradition of delivering a variety of workshops to help teachers bring students effective, inquiry-based instruction.
